Thank you to Round Lake Association for purchasing the
1st welcome sign for Sister
Lakes, and a thank you to
Jack and Rita Kinney for allowing this sign to be placed on the #1 Spot in the
area. I also want to thank Crooked Lakes Association for purchasing
the 2nd one this past Sunday. Both signs are
ordered and will be installed hopefully within the next month.
On June 28th, before the local parade and
fireworks display, there is going to be a fundraising event for the Sister Lakes
Streetscape Project. It will be located behind Springsteen
Realty and the Speedway gas station
from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be arts &
crafts, food vendors, a children’s magic show, and a live broadcast by WDOW. The
Streetscape Project will have a booth at the event. Please try to stop by and
take a look at the items available to help raise money for this much needed
project.
The Sister
Lakes items, such as license plates,
t-shirts, etc., are not only great for you, but will make wonderful gifts for
friends and family! You might also want to check out the
website at
www.streetscape.sisterlakes.com. I
hope to have the items available on the website for your viewing
soon. If you are not able to attend the fundraising event,
the items will be available for sale at Tim Pitcher Inc. after June
28
th.
I appreciate all the help from the Streetscape Project
volunteers. A complete listing of these people will also be listed on the
website. If you are interested in helping with the project or have
ideas/suggestions for additional fundraising, please contact
me.
